Description: PCGS authenticated and graded AU 58. Frosty light olive and bluish steel brown with a hint of underlying faded mint red showing on the left side of the reverse. There are a few contact marks including a vertical nick in the field before the nose, a collection of tiny scratches nestled between the hair bun and star 10, and some dull nicks in the field left of stars 11 & 12. EDS with a dash to the right from the top of the F in OF, light die clashmarks at the throat, and no cud break above AM. The hair buns are not fully struck up as often seen on this variety. The fields are satiny and this cent has excellent eye appeal. 15 Stars. Ex; Lester Merkin 3/15/1967:205 - R. S. Brown, Jr., Superior 9/30/1986:480 - J. R. Grellman Collection 3/1987 - J. R.
