Free US Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description: It is a set of two authentic antique star charts approximately 147 years old, blank on reverse with a centerfold as issued. They were originally published in the Atlas zu John Muller's Lehrbuch der Kosmischen Physik World (Braunschweig, 1872), a copy of the title page is included. They are being sold as two single loose charts that are not mounted, matted nor framed, basically as seen in the main pic. A very nice set of a panoramic view and an accompanying map of stars and constellations of the equatorial sky of 50 degrees declination north and south of the Equator. Size: Thee printed areas each measures 5 1/2 inches by 19" (14x48cm) on pages measuring 9 by 22" (23x56cm) Condition: They are both in good condition for their age, blank on reverse, each with five vertical folds as issued. They both have binding holes along the centerfold, the ones on the panoramic view are small and hardly visible, while on the constellation chart they are much larger as can be seen in the detail pics, and there is some wrinkling of the fold on the constellation map as well. There is one minor bend on a corner and one edge tear with archival repair on reverse, otherwise they are very clean, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
