Description: Vintage to antique unsigned lion sulphide paperweight from Bohemia-Silesia region of Europe, ca.early 20th century. Multi-sided domed form contains a reclining lion on resting on a yellow & blue spatter cushion. Well calculated melon faceting creates a window for viewer to see the lion. Rough Dimensions: 3" diameter by 3-3/4” tall. Condition is vintage preowned appropriate very good for its age, with a few small nicks to the edge of the facets & shelf wear to the flat polished base. Please note, the 2 ‘holes’ in the base are bubbles that were exposed when the base was polished flat. See photos. My photos are an important part of my description.
