2 custom red & white Technics SL 1200 mk2's with white/red leds & DHC STR8 Arms

Description: Up for sale is a pair of custom Red & White Powder Coated Technics SL1200MK2's. They have been professionally powder coated. Powder Coating is a heavy duty paint job and will last for a very long time. It's better than spray paint even better than car paint. They have been tuned-up, calibrated, and cleaned. You can see in the pics. These come with The official DHC STR8 Tone ARMs. They have White Led's for the pop up light, Red 33/45 buttons, White pitch control, and Red for the on/off switch. They have been internally grounded, and have brand new rca cables installed. These rca cables are Professional grade with 24kt gold connectors. They have White power cords installed brand new. I spent a lot of time paying attention to detail. The Technic logos are laser etched back on for durability. They have custom colored pitch decals to match. It's a brand new pitch label. They also include brand new pitch controls as well. Pitch controls have been calibrated to factory specs. These Technics are built like a tank, and will last a long long time. They have been tested with Serato, Traktor & with vinyl records, & they work great!!! These turntables are in great working condition!!! They come in standard 110v voltage. If you need a different voltage you'll have to get an external voltage converter. There's no need to go out and buy new Technics for an outrageous amount. You can get this one already customized for way less. They also include the original 45 RPM metal adapters. I'm throwing in a pair of "TECHNICS" slip mats for free. Please email me with any questions. These are a super clean set of Technic MK2's. They will be packed with care, in one box. If you are out of the U.S. please specify if you need these to be shipped a certain way. Otherwise they will be shipped out in one box. Also check with customs to see if they have additional fees. I am not responsible for these fees, I simply don't have any control over them. The shipping cost includes insurance, I will not ship these without insurance. Bid with confidence, check out my feedback. I've been working on Technics since 1990. I also do all repairs on Technics 1200's. Don't forget these are a great set of 1200's. These will last for many years when properly taken care of. These are also a great investment, as you know by now, they no longer produce this particular turntable. They are collector's items, which means their value will increase over time. These come from a smoke & pet free environment. With these 1200's you will really be the envy of all your friends. Look at the pics and check out the details. These would make a magnificent gift for yourself or that special someone. Please check out my other listings and my facebook.com/djhenray for my other custom Technics. Remember what DJs used in the club before the 1200s? Nobody else does either. That's because our heavy-duty design, vibration-resistant construction, and mechanical precision make a lot of what those early DJs did possible. This deck was the first to feature a Direct Drive motor, quartz movement for total accuracy, adjustable tone arm weights, anti-skate control, a pop-up target light and a sliding pitch control. With each new improvement, as form follows function, the Technics turntable has become a thing of beauty. From the community centers at the beginning of the disco era to the clubs of today, Technics decks have been the standard for over thirty years. A BIT ABOUT THE DHC STR8 TONE ARMS: Ok, so for a long time I’ve been working on a better Tone Arm for the Technic 1200 series. I’ve finally got it. I’ve recently finished developing a Tone Arm that will improve the tracking on the Technic 1200 models. As you may know by now, I repair and customize the best Turntable ever made, the Technics 1200. I’ve been doing so since 1990, which is also when I started spinnin'. Back then vinyl records were the standard media. I love both mixing and scratchning. I put my Technics through it. Through out the many years that I’ve had the pleasure on working on them, I’ve always knew that there was a little something extra that could be done to improve the tracking performance. Don’t get me wrong, these turntables are awesome and get the job done, but it’s no secret that the technology for it is a bit out dated. These were developed back in the 70’s when people just used them to play vinyl records. The design of the S tone arm was sufficient for this simple task back then. Fortunately the Technic 1200 was found by early HIP HOP DJ’s to be the standard turntable for mixing and scratching. It could take what any Dj would dish out. As time went by, technology and the art of Djing changed. Dj’s got more aggressive with their mixing and scratching. With this said, the Technic turntable stayed pretty much the same. Before Technics stopped making them, they made minor changes to the existing models. It was said that the MK5 motor has a higher torque, but it’s not something you can really notice. I feel that the torque on the original Mk2 is just fine the way it is. They also did the Grandmaster model which was amazing. Blue led for the pop up light, metallic powder coat finish, digital pitch control, and +-16% for the pitch adjustment. Now this was a great improvement. They also had improved the tone arm as well, supposed to have an additional anti skating knob. It was suppose to have better traction. I really didn’t notice much difference for the traction. Anyways, it's a known fact that the straight tone arm is way better for cueing, scratching, and tracking then the stock S arm that comes with the Technics. Technics did not make a 1200 model with a straight tone arm, even though it’s a known fact the the straight arm is superior. I often get asked “Why didn’t Technics make a model with a straight tone arm?” I really don’t know why, but if I were to guess, it might have something to do with their trademark look. The S arm is the first thing that really comes to mind when I hear Technic 1200’s. Maybe they felt that if they changed the look of the 1200, then people might not like it, even though it would be better. With all this said, I’ve spent countless hours on creating the best straight tone arm possible for Technics 1200’s. Many trials and tests later, I’m finally happy to introduce The “DHC STR8 ARM” for Technic 1200’s series. This tone arm is a big improvement in tracking and anti skating. I’ve been a big fan of the Shure M44-7 needles with original Technic headshells for a long time. Simply because they track really good. Now if you bother to read the instructions that come with your Shure needles when you buy them. It clearly states to calibrate them at a 23 degree angle to the tone arm base, to mach a straight tone arm. I’ve been doing this for years and have been telling my customers to do so as well. It does help with tracking a lot. It handles a bit better than if you were to leave it the regular way. I’ve disliked ortofon needles because they don’t track well, same with trackmasters or even the Stanton 500als and so forth. Now with this new straight tone arm, it doesn’t matter which needle you prefer to use. They will all track way better now with this new tone arm. I’ve put all these needles to the test, and they work a lot better. Now you can keep on using Ortofons, Stantons, Trackmasters, ect... Also with this new straight arm there’s no need to angle the shure m44-7’s anymore because you’ll be using a straight tone arm. No more need for the auxiliary 3 gram weight either. These tone arms are available in many different colors to match your Technics. They are powder coated for durability. They are available as DIY kits, and also fully assembled. Order yours today or stop by and get them installed. You won’t be disappointed, they really do make a difference. Especially if you still use vinyl records.
