It is vintage and is from a time when they used to deliver milk to the house. Each dairy farm had its own type of cap and insert, which makes these really cool and a great collectible piece of dairy farm history. It's made of thick paper stock / cardboard. These appear to be unused and in nice shape, for their age and still in great condition. New old stock, never used and real nice shape..These were stored away for many years in a box inside a garage and I acquired these from a collector, who's originally from upstate New York.
