This switch requires adjustment to properly operate the headlights, so it is suggested that you check your adjustment prior to ordering if you are having a problem with your current switch, as it may be simply out of adjustment. Tilt columns with excessive tilt play will need to repair prior to any adjustments. 78-79 models will need to verify switch is on the column (vs the floor).
