How To Use Scanning the villager’s card at Resident Services will allow you to invite them to your campsite. After 3 days of inviting them and crafting the item they've requested, you will be able to invite them to live on your island. If your island is at max capacity you will be given the option to pick which of your current villagers you'd like to replace (a great way to force a villager off your island). You can also scan your card at Brewster's to invite them for coffee, to have a photoshoot at Harvey's island, or in the Happy Home Paradise DLC to design a vacation home for them.
