Description: Former film and TV actor, Ronald Reagan, ran for California Governor in 1966 and won two terms. This was during many of that state's student protests, over the Vietnam War and other issues, which made Berkeley famous and infamous. A law-and-order candidate and governor, cello buttons were sold in those hippy-dippy head shops to young people who thought they could get away with anything and resented when they got tear gassed. And then, when running for president in 1976, 1980 and 1984, anti-President Reagan pins were a commodity. A person can build a wonderful collection of trays filled with just anti-Reagan pinbacks. So, we thought we'd list a couple of dozen just for kicks. Here's a 2.25" litho reminding 1984 voters of his economic question against president Jimmy Carter in their only1980 debate, "Are You Better Off Today Than You Were Four Years Ago?" (Watch out, Biden). This was put out by the Communications Workers of America union. It is in nice condition but please enlarge our images to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase.
