Description: Antique 1920s Blue Wedding Dress Rare Blue wedding dress from the 1920s. Dress is classic 1920s lines. Dress is blue Chiffon and has a satin under slip. It has an empress waist and fastens on the side with 4 metal snaps. The back of the bodice has a Peek A Boo slit. The dress has a front hook and eye closure. The sleeves are full with Peek A Boo slits then narrow to the cuff. Cuff has a snap closure. The satin slip is one piece and the back has a deep V to accommodate the Peek a Boo back of the dress. There is a floor length veil and head piece to complete these beautiful wedding dress. The veil is white tulle with lace edging. The head piece is attached. It has lace and seed pearl accents and flowers at the sides. The dress is completely sewn by hand and quite beautifully done. Also included is the original wedding cabinet cart photograph showing the bride and groom. The bride is wearing the dress Measured laying flat NOT doubled Dress Chest 20"" Waist 15" Sleeves 21" Length 57" Slip Bust 16.5" Waist 17" Hips 20" Length 54" Veil 106" long CONDITION: Overall Very good condition. Dress has 2 small tears at the cuff of the right sleeve no other damage to the dress. Thee may be some fain fading in the blue of the dress but it is very faint and may just be the fabric. The blue satin slip has no damage. There is some very light stain at the bodice area very hard to see. the veil and head piece are in poor condition. The tulle has many rips and tears. There is no discoloration, odd smells or other damage.
