Description: Antique-Bradley Hubbard Banquet Lamp-B&H Copper Parlor Lamp-Victorian Oil Lamp Antique Bradley & Hubbard Copper GWTW Banquet Lamp - A Victorian Masterpiece Step back in time with this stunning Victorian Bradley & Hubbard Copper Parlor Lamp, electrified, a rare find from circa 1895. This authentic B & H lamp exudes Victorian charm and craftsmanship, creating a beautiful ambiance that transports you to an era of elegance. The Center-draft Lamps with removable pots were popular from the 1890's through the 1920's, creating a Victorian ambience as well as proving a useful lighting source. Historical Significance: This Bradley & Hubbard lamp is not just a lighting fixture; it's a piece of history. The exquisite craftsmanship and rare design make it a standout addition to any collection. This lamp and globe are gorgeous lit or unlit. The creamy-colored glass globe provides a lovely glowing effect when lit, enhancing the classical beauty of this lamp. If you don't need the globe we can discuss that option. The 4 elongated applied handles with the bust of Nike add a touch of classical elegance. The Winged Goddess of Victory which to me would coincide with this large victory trophy style vessel. The copper vessel is nestled in a decorated base stand on three decorated leaf embossed footings. Just about all of this lamp is copper including the original pot. The creamy colored glass large sized globe and base are in excellent antique condition. There is a B & H oil burner that has been modified to accommodate electric use. It appears as though it might be returnable to oil if so desired. Wick adjuster working. The gallery, shade ring and shade holder are also included and appear original along with its copper pot and copper cap marked B&H. The lamp is heavy and is stable. Will sell without the shade if not needed. Approximate measurements 37" tall to chimney Globe/shade- 11.5" tall -11.5" at its widest, it is difficult to get an accurate size on a globe, but it is one of the largest they made back in the day, 35.5" circumference. Base - 8.5" to 10" The chimney is not original and fits over the prongs, I will not include it unless there is safe room in one of the two boxes, and you can purchase one if you need or we can arrange it separately. Packing these large lamps to arrive safely is a treasured task and costly since I use extra large boxes to get them to you safely I would rather not have to raise shipping cost to accommodate the chimney if not necessary. π Condition Details: In very good condition, clean conversion, lacking components and with associated alterations due to electric conversion, in line cord switch. Stand has little wear, shade may have, nicks on fitter end, patina/oil stains, collar lip has a slight lift. I have had it in my dining room and nothing that distract from the beauty of this lamp when displayed and/or its integrity. It happens to be one of my favorites, I just have too many lamps and need to separate with some. This is about 100 plus years old and will show signs of wear, normal wear as shown exist as is characteristic of age and to be expected. The copper ring and other areas may have some stubborn oil stains/patina. My GUARANTEE: I will always list and describe (and answer questions) about my items with 100% honesty (good, bad and ugly). Just about every lamp and/or lighting fixture that I sell at one time has been in use, they were manufactured for use in extreme conditions and subject to heavy use, these lights have survived! They have already proven their ability to stand the test of time......this is a measure you simply will not find in ANY new light fixture made today. Cherished Hunts Antiques carries the originals of what others copy today. Vintage light fixtures increase in value as the supply is diminished. π Shipping Information: Shipping is an estimate and is available from East Coast to West Coast, with variations in cost. I will gladly accept a return if I have misrepresented something, I want my clients to be happy with their purchases. My return policy applies to items that have significant, sizable, meaningful and blaring issues of condition that I failed to disclose in my ad. I cannot afford to pay for shipping because a buyer may be difficult and/or change their mind so please consider my complete description along with photos, and ask questions if need be.
