Description: I have 6 of the snack plates and 6 cups (2 were displayed for photos), so am listing them in plate and cup pairs. You can finish your set this way, or buy them all if you wish. There is no way to set it up exactly in the calculators.) This is Anchor Hocking's Early American Prescut pattern (EAPC for short), which was manufactured between 1960-1999. Not all pieces were made the entire time. The pattern began with 4 pieces and more were added later. Most had been discontinued by 1978, with only the 8" vase, sugar, creamer, cruet and shakers being continued through the 1990s. These snack plates are just a smidge under 10 inches wide, and 3/4 inch high. The cups are 3 5/8 inches wide at the top, 2 inches wide at the bottom, and 2 1/4 inches tall. The plates have a ring molded in the glass, on one side, to hold the cup. The EAPC glass is very sturdy, hard to break, and easily tolerates washing in the dishwasher. It probably is microwave safe, but I have only used the cup there, so can't say for certain about other pieces. Please note that this pattern is NOT "Star of David." That's a very bad moniker for this design. Davidian stars have 6 points (formed by 3 overlapping triangles). There is not even one 6 pointed star on any of the pieces of this pattern! That bad nickname was perpetuated by a popular author of books on glass patterns, but he is dead wrong on this. (There are several errors in his books, but I think this is the most heinous!)
