Description: An extremely rare and wonderful find ~ this gorgeous fabric is an unused piece of Antique French printed cotton dating c1890. The Belle Epoque style pattern is just perfect for that period and time and is still STUNNING for use in projects today! ~ ~*~ The original selvages are intact, and so is the sizing (starch) from the factory, giving the fabric a slightly stiff feel that will dissipate with washing. Very rare to find textiles in this condition, it is gorgeous! ~ It is a medium weight, roller and hand block printed linen and cotton mix fabric. The tones are gorgeous; saturated red, deep madder purple and a steely blue on an off-white ground. I am selling this piece in lengths of just over 1 yard, please see below. This textile is ideal for light upholstery, pillows, framing, collections etc! ( 52 ) MEASUREMENTS : I'm selling this lovely fabric by the 39 inch length so each purchase is for a length that measures about 39 inches long by 32.25 inches wide. Should you wish to purchase longer continuous lengths, simply change the quantity button. For example, if you require a length that measures 78 inches long by 32.25 inches wide, simply change the quantity button to 2. ~*~ Condition ~ : This gorgeous fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered, unused condition! There are a few small pale storage marks here and there, and some pale bleeds from the red dye from where this was folded (probably folded too soon after printing?). Overall beautiful condition! 4/12/19
