HEN & ROOSTER 2 7/8" CLOSED BUFFALO HORN MINI TRAPPER POCKET KNIFE MADE GERMANY

Description: We have a hand made Hen & Rooster 2 7/8" closed MINI TRAPPER,- they were supposed to be Peanuts but H & R put a Spey Blade on these making them a Woops MINI TRAPPERS The first order of these we got were Peanuts 24 of them, but some where along the line the blade changed and I wasn't looking at them before shipping and because I called them Peanuts one buyer wasn't happy and returned the knife. So I just checked all we have and they all have a Clip Point & Spey Blade so what would you call them, I looked at other sellers listing and many of them didn't put a name just folder, so I say call them what you want, they are an awesome 2 7/8" pocket knife very Mini Trappers pocket knife with Genuine African Cape Buffalo Horn Handle. Model # HR-402CBH ,- The CBH stands for Cape Buffalo Horn / not just BH. These knives were hand-made at the Bertram Cutlery Plant in Solingen Germany. We have had a total of 21 of these knives all of the others were Peanuts, and so far mostly collectors have brought these knowing they put the wrong blade on this knife. The blades look like a mini trapper not a Peanut. This Pocket Knife with 2 blades of German 1095 stainless. Model 402-CBH is the first-ever made H & R Pocket Knife with a Buffalo Horn handle they do make a fixed blade with Buffalo Horn HR-5021BH, & HR-5003BH, also the old series 17916. 17910, 17912, 17914, 17915, but most of these have been discontinued and if you want a fantastic set of knives these two would be it. Most H & R Knives are made in Spain but every once in a while they will make a special knife as they have here, in Germany at the Bertram Cutlery Plant and if you look at the last picture you will see just how sharp these blades really are I tapped the blade so light I didn't even know I did until a drip landed on my desk.
