Description: Holophane 2120 with Sun-Purpled GlassMy understanding of sun-purpled glass is that it is a reaction between the manganese in the glass and the sun or other ultraviolet light. The result is a pleasing light purple tint most visible when the light is off. This one-piece Holophane 2120 was manufactured in the USA sometime after 1918. The condition is very good but not perfect as it has a few little chips that are not very noticeable. The last picture shows the largest chip, it's on the rim. Some of these shades have a diffuser the covers the bottom opening, some don't. This one doesn't. The solid brass nickel plated fitter is new and of very high quality. All mounting hardware is included and should be an easy installation. The shade is just a touch over 9 inches in diameter. From the bottom of the shade to the ceiling is 11 inches. Everything you see in the pictures is included. Light will be shipped in separate pieces to insure safe arrival; re-assembly is EASILY accomplished by purchaser. I will even include the wire nuts.
