Description: PLEASE NOTE: I’m not a professional grader but have over 40 years of collecting, trading & selling comic books & other collectibles. Please read description in 3rd paragraph. Please view all photos & ask any questions you may have. Grading is not a science. The impact or the importance of flaws to a book can vary from person to person. I may feel a faint water stain on the back cover is minor where someone else feels it’s more of a major defect. What I may think is a 6.0 or 6.5 someone else may think it’s a 5.0 or 5.5. I try to note what I feel are the most notable of defects and give honest grade ranges. I’m not trying to hide anything, I just may think something is not as major as someone else. Please do not purchase if you disagree or like to debate grade ranges. Purchase professionally graded comics then. I see the poorly graded comics listed out there. Also it is not my concern how the book can possibly be improved or not improved by a pressing, cleaning or any other restoration. Thank you and sorry for the rant. Oh and thank you to all the moron sellers that copy my titles exactly. Weak. Well they say imitation is the highest form of flattery. And I really didn’t think I needed to address this but PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING then want to return it because you didn’t like it or it’s not what you expected. Look. Read. Ask questions. And don’t make up stuff about item not being vintage or authentic when you have no idea what you are talking about. Offered up from my personal collection is a “ULTRA RARE” HOW TO DRAW COMICS THE MARVEL WAY HARDCOVER EDITION WITH DUST JACKET. Published by Simon and Schuster & Marvel Comics in 1978. (Black & White) Seventh Printing. 160 pages. By “industry legends” Stan Lee & John Buscema. How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way belongs in the library of every kid who has ever wanted to illustrate his own comic strip. Especially a rare hardcover edition. Vintage “KEY” HOW TO DRAW COMICS book and a “MUST HAVE” for any Aspiring artist and Marvel Comics completist/collector. In my estimation the book ranges in “NICE” (5.5) FINE- to (6.5) FINE+ condition with off-white to cream pages. Very moderate wear to cover, spine, corners & edges. Book has minor age discoloration/staining/soiling. Dust jacket has some tears at corners and minor age discoloration/staining/soiling. A very tight, sharp, bright & glossy looking copy. There are no other glaring flaws to note, that is not typical to books falling under the indicated grade ranges or visible in pictures. I am not a professional grader but grade very conservatively using The Overstreet Price Guide as reference and my 40+ years of comic book collecting/selling experience. Pictures are of the actual book you will receive. No stock photos. All books come bagged & boarded. Books are packed with care by a lifelong collector. All books are shipped “FREE” of charge. Books are boxed shipped using USPS Priority Mail and includes tracking & insurance. PLEASE NOTE: Items $500 and over will require signature confirmation. All sales are final. No returns. Please contact with any questions or concerns. As a seller feedback will be left once buyer receives item, is satisfied and leaves feedback. Thanks for checking out my listing. Add me to your favorites as I slowly start selling off my personal collection with many books purchased at time of publication, read once and stored for decades.
