The Hillbilly Magic run is a very popular run amongst JABO collectors because of the bright beautiful palette of colors used in the manufacturing process along with other extremely vivid colors. This particular Hillbilly Magic marble has the distinct characteristic to have the Superman colors. These colors are technically called Medium Persian Blue (#0060AA), Canary Yellow (#FFED10), and Cadmium Red (#E20025). This classic Superman family within the Hillbilly Magic run will always be a mainstay for collectable marbles. This desirable namesake of the man of steel should be in every serious collectors keeper vault. This one would fit nicely into any collection. Grab it while you can. These classic Superman colors are reflected with the beautiful pigments of the high quality glass used in this marble production run. You just can't go wrong putting a Hillbilly Magic Superman in your personal collection...this is a keeper. The cool feature in my mind is that sparkling navy blue aventurine. Most of the Superman marble in my collection definitely qualify as Superman with the right shade of blue, but only a few have this awesome big fat chunky navy blue aventurine glass that give an added dimension and depth to give the marble huge sparkle and pop. This is just fantastic in my humble opinion. If you look closely at the last photo, you can even see a tiny surprise...read on... I take high resolution pictures with a Canon Rebel DSL with high quality lighting in order to illuminate every small detail possible. I rotate the marble to give all possible angles so you can see exactly what you are getting. My goal is always complete disclosure so the buyer is never unpleasantly surprised. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine and it measures a nice 0.736" in diameter with a pair of electronic calipers. Note: there is one cool feature of this marble than can be seen in the last couple of pictures...near the blue swirl on the white background is a few flecks of green aventurine. This just might increase the value as a collector marble due to the interesting as-made factory characteristic...this is definitely not a flaw.
