Description: This small, vintage, Le Tallec, rectangular box, possibly from 1948, is in the "Grignan Bleue" pattern, with blue bands of 22KT gold chains, alternating with white bands of gold stripes and burgundy scallops and dots. on top. A blue band with gold chains and a gold pin stripe borders the sides. A flower is the clasp, and a gold sunburst is painted inside. There is a small black spot in the porcelain. The box is 1.5" by 2.2" with a height of 1". On the bottom is: "Le Tallec a Paris France - L o T / AL." "o" was the date code for 1948 which would make it 76 years old. It could be one of the Greek letters used between 1967 and 1978 which would make it at least 48 years old. However, it does not have the old spackle type filler, and it looks new.
