HistoryPioneeringFormed by Adauto "Adá" on bass , Tikinho on guitar and vocals and Zú on drums , they started playing in 1979, influenced mainly by Sex Pistols , Ramones , The Clash , Stiff Little Fingers , UK Subs , Dead Boys , Sham 69 and Lurkers . [ 1 ] After some presentations, Alê takes over the vocals [ 2 ] . In 1980, with a few rehearsals and only three songs in their repertoire, Lixomania made their first performance at an unprecedented meeting of punk bands, held behind closed doors in Santo Amaro , in the south of São Paulo . On the same day, Inocentes , Mack, Anarkólatras, Colera and Olho Seco performed . During 1980 and 1981, Lixomania performed several shows around the outskirts of São Paulo and quickly gained prestige among São Paulo punks. In 1981, Alê left the band and Moreno took over the vocals, in addition to drummer Zú, replaced by Miro (ex-Guerrilha Urbana). With this lineup, Lixomania recorded the triple EP Violência e Sobrevivência [ 1 ] , released in September 1982 [ 3 ] [ 4 ] , financed by Carlos Marçal Bueno, a friend and supporter of the band. The EP contains six tracks: "Violência e Sobrevivência", "Massacre Inocente", "O Punk Rock não Morreu", "Zé Nobody", "Fugitivo" and "Os Punks Além Amam". It was the first individual album by a punk band in Brazil , released a few months after the pioneer Grito Suburbano . After the release of the EP, Lixomania played in some cities in the interior of São Paulo and participated in the legendary festival O Começo do Fim do Mundo , at Sesc Pompéia , in São Paulo. [ 1 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] At that time, vocalist Moreno had left to play bass in Psykóze, and was replaced by Alê, who returned to the band. Shortly afterwards, Lixomania was the first punk band from São Paulo to play outside the state. One of the performances was at Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro , which opened with Paralamas do Sucesso [ 1 ] and Kid Abelha & os Abóboras Selvagens . They also played in a show at the Juiz de Fora stadium , watched by thousands of people. After the presentations in Rio de Janeiro, they were invited to a meeting with the director of the record label RCA in Brazil, who proposed releasing an LP by the band. The contract stipulated that the record company could add keyboards [ 1 ] and saxophone to some songs, which caused the band to reject the proposal. One of Lixomania's last performances at that time, on TV Cultura 's Fábrica do Som program , ended in a fight between rival gangs . As a result, in March 1983, Lixomania decided to close its activities. [ 1 ] After the band's end, Miro formed 365 , with a more pop rock- oriented sound . ReturnIn October 2002, the group returned to action with its classic lineup (Moreno, Tikinho, Adá and Miro) as a guest at the festival O Fim do Mundo , held in Tendal da Lapa, west of São Paulo , which brought together, for a week , more than 60 bands from all over Brazil. [ 1 ] Following these performances, and the encouragement of their fans, Lixomania returned to rehearsing regularly and, in 2003, played a show at Hangar 110 . [ 1 ] In 2004, the band returned to the studio to re-record three songs: "OMR (Ódio, Medo e Revolta)", "Quero ser Livre" and "PPP (Pare para Pensar)". In 2005, they recorded another 15 songs and released the album Não, Graças! , which includes 12 new songs plus re-recordings from the first EP. In July 2016, they performed at Estúdio Show Livre, in São Paulo.
