Description: Philips 12-inch 33 RPM LP # 6586-003, in the "UNESCO Collection, Musical Sources" series, is "North India: Vocal Music, Dhrupad and Khyal." It is mono and undated, and was made in Holland. The record still looks nice and shiny, but with some small scuffs and scratches or needle marks. It plays through fine on my Audio-Technica turntable, with mostly just very light background noise, but, because the music itself is so quiet, there are some audible pops and clicks and ticking from time to time. I didn't detect any jumps or skips, but it's hard to tell with this music. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. The cover is in lightly used and worn condition, with just typical light surface rubbing and edge wear, and it comes with a plain white anti-static inner sleeve.
