For some Reason only Pleasant Rowland knows. All of Felicity items start with an E. I always wondered if was first a typo and they figured just leave in since an E could have been an F if handwriting was bad. Well that’s just my theory but here you have a never used Felicity SHOES, STOCKING & GARTERS AS IT SAYS ON BACK. Well there is more to this great set. You also get the interchangeable snaps , RED AND BLUE. These can be put on to match the outfit that she is wearing. To see if garters are the AUTHENTIC P. C GARTERS, when you turn them over , the one side says “ Made with Love for Lizzie 1776. When you turn them over you will see a floral type design running through them. The AG brand has knots and thread mess. I have had this for many years , never touched . Stored in my cedar closet. I have another set that they are displayed in but they will be put away soon. This is the complete set and when you read below it tells you that they were made with a leather top and so on. My home Is smoke free and as I said these are kept in a cedar closet so no moths, after the years the material tends to break down. The cedar helps to keep it at the right moisture level. It’s always hard, any collector will tell you that selling off you items, even doubles is tough. I have 3 Felicity dolls, the version 1 from 1981 is not being sold but It’s time for me to let go and let another collector enjoy and love them as I have. So here you have a complete BEAUTIFUL authentic pleasant company set. As I had said the box EXOA matches what is inside. It is as the day I received it when I bought it. Below is what I found off of a pleasant company site that tells of what the shoes were made of. They are so soft and look so beautiful When Pleasant Company originally produced Felicity's cream shoes, they were typically made from combination of leather and fabric the uppers were a soft leather, while the bottoms are made from sturdy fiber and canvas or cotton, depending the specific shoe design. When I received my Felicity socks, stockings and garters there was no pamphlet. Later on I had spoken to many people and they to did not get a pamphlet, due to this being an accessory one was not included. Pleasant Company ALWAYS tagged one shoe with the gold sticker. This comes from my private collection, I have 2 of this style Please feel free to ask questions. I will be putting out other doubles of my items. Some have been placed in the wrong boxes, this happened when I moved and they packed up my home. If the box does not match the item I will find it, it it’s still around. Some Boxes were crushed due to ignorance of their importance. These are in the correct box as many I have seen going through my huge collection.
