Steps for Installing the Crankshaft Rear Oil SealStep 1Install Pilot (a) on the end of the crankshaft using the Allen head cap screws (b) supplied and tighten.Step 2Start oil seal/wear sleeve assembly (c) over the Pilot and crankshaft with the open side of the seal toward the engine.Step 3Position Driver (d) so that hole in the cross plate goes over the threaded stud of the pilot. Install the washer and nut on the stud.Step 4Tighten the nut to draw the Driver in until the crossbar bottoms on the Pilot.
