Biography Born in 1915 in Nebljusi near Donji Lapac, into a poor peasant family. After finishing elementary school, he went to secondary school in Bihac. In the fall of 1934 he enrolled at the Military Academy in Belgrade. War continued his education at the school vazduhoplovnij for scouts. There was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. In April War fell into German captivity near Doboj, but after a few days managed to escape. Participant of the National Liberation Struggle of 1941. After the uprising on July 27 in Srb and Bosnia, stands organized attack on the armory station in Nebljusi. After that, put at the disposal of the commander of the guerrilla unit for Liku, Gojko Polovina. He met also with Mark Oreskovic jalopy, which was proposed by the battalion commander of the guerrilla unit for Liku. The commander became 23 August. In November 1941, he became deputy commander of the Group of Partisan detachments for Liku, performing at the same time as the commander Lapacko Battalion. In mid-January 1942, he was admitted as a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ). Was fatally wounded in an organized attack by partisans on the Italian garrison in Donji Lapac on 27 February 1942. The next day, his battalion fighters buried him in a place of death. By the decree of the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito, 27 November 1953, was declared a national hero.Vintage pin badge from 1970th.
