Description: Vintage working Teisco Checkmate 88 amp. Sounds really, really cool. Serviced with a new factory spec B50K power switch/volume pot control and new Nichicon filter capacitor in power supply, as well as fresh rubber grommets for the reverb tank mounts. All the potentiometers were cleaned as well, but are still a bit scratchy from age and use. Great little low-volume recording amplifier with an excellent sounding tremolo and dark, swampy spring reverb. I really, really liked playing through this amp while servicing it. Ships free.
