Perfect to temporarily seal the back of the trans when removing the driveshaft and stop the fluid from leaking out. Still may leak a little bit as its not a perfect seal. This is why I list them as being best for temporary use or to just keep stuff out when in storage so forth. All sellers plugs are like this they just don't all state it.
