TipTopTemp (TTT or T3) BBQ temperature regulator

Description: The TipTopTemp™ temperature regulator system is built using a coil that reacts to heat, which opens and closes the damper. The coil is a temperature-sensitive, bi-metal coil with a deflection rate of about 0.346 angular degrees per degree Celsius. The gasket is a high temp silicone to create a good air seal.The USA made T3 is made of heavy gauge plated steel and has a hardwood knob. The knob can be personalized with a graduated decal or favorite temperature marked by the customer. The T3 can be used as a single 3"ID or 5"OD assembled unit with a twist, locking the two pieces together. The only difference between the packages is the included accessory. Each package has the same TipTopTemp device. The fragile plastic knob was obsoleted and is NOT included. Kettle is a prepackaged TipTopTemp and includes retaining clips designed to slide under the OEM daisy wheel. The free end of the clip is pinched between the TTT base and red gasket to secure the device to the grill lid. Designed for Weber steel kettle style grills. Ceramic 4F is a prepackaged TipTopTemp and includes a 1/2" wide, high temp silicone spacing gasket to fill the gap on the smaller fixed vents. Designed for the Akorn Jr grills. Ceramic 5F is a prepackaged TipTopTemp and includes a wire 'hanger' to secure the device to 5" fixed vents. Designed for the standard Akorn grills. Ceramic 5R is a prepackaged TipTopTemp and includes a 2" wide, high temp silicone band to bridge the union of the 5" chimney and the TTT. Designed for the BGE. Ceramic 6R is a prepackaged TipTopTemp and includes a 1/2" wide, high temp silicone spacing gasket to fill the gap between the large 6" ID chimney and the TTT. Designed for the Kong with OEM removed. Offset smokers- The Kettle version is recommended but the 2 15/16" tin can (pictured) used as an extension is NOT included but can be found in your local grocery store aisle. There is no functional difference between this and previous TipTopTemp models. The same bi-metal coil specs are being used. The accessories are interchangeable and dimensions are similar. When cleaned any TTT should last for years. The naming regiment was as follows- the grill style (Kettle or Ceramic), vent size (4",5"or 6") and whether it has a removable or fixed vent (R,F). The T3 has a 3"ID upper section, 5"OD lower base and is approx 3" tall with hardwood knob.
