Description: Sewn of rayon twill fabric, this lovely dress has 3/4 length sleeves, a button front closure, and no signs of excessive wear or indifferent care. It is in excellent vintage condition. The navy blue ground is covered in a stylized pattern of leaves, stems, and flowers? fruits? done on a medium green. The effect of the two colors together is muted and soft. Details include pintucks on the ribbon defined square yoke ( front and back), and ties in the back for personal fit. I had taken the liberty of sewing the front seam closed below the hips for modesty’s sake. If you don’t care for that, I will un-sew it before shipping it to you, the high bidder.
