Description: This is a vintage Case 5220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.Each blade is tight with no side-to-side wobble.Genuine stag handles have great color.The handles have no cracks or damage.Used, carried, and sharpened. Both blades are full with sharpening marks, patina, and deep staining as the photos show. Blades appear to have been cleaned some.
