Description: For sale is a Vintage Council Tool 2.25 head axe. I threw a handle on this a while back. Had plans to put it in my collection but decided to go ahead and get rid of it. Handle Material is Tennessee Hickory. I left plenty of heft to the handle so if you like your handle with a little heft it is there. If not you can thin it down. Handle was sanded to 180 grit. It has two coats of BLO on it. These are fantastic old axes. Please see pictures and use those to determine condition and value for yourself as I do not offer returns, refunds or partial refunds.
