Description: Vintage ballerina print ANTICIPATION by Donald Art Company of NY. The print measures 12” tall by 10” wide. Artwork is by Florence Kroger. Florence Kroger was born in 1897 in Cincinnati, OH. She learned to draw and paint at an early age. She attended the Cincinnati Art Academy and continued her studies in NYC and Los Angeles. In the 1950’s Florence was a successful commercial illustrator in the United States. She is most remembered for her precious subject matter such as babies and furry puppies and kittens. Her subject matter and soft pastels made her art popular for children’s bedrooms and nurseries. Florence passed away in 1980. The print is in good condition. There are some small holes at the corners (appears to have been put up with thumb tacks) and there are some smudges on the back. Please see photos as part of this description.
