It measures approximately 8 by 11 inches. His animal portraits truly showcase each animal’s personality. In the tradition of the pure-bred dog portrait, his dogs are typically posed to show off how they conform to the breed standard.Megargee also painted horses, cattle and cock-fighting scenes. The running greyhound logo for the Greyhond Bus Co. was designed by him. Several of his game-shooting scenes appeared in "Field & Stream" throughout the 1940s-50s.It will be packaged in a plastic sleeve, with a thin piece of cardboard, and sandwiched between layers of cardboard.
