Description: Depression Glass Shirley Temple Bowl, Mug and Milk Pitcher, blue glass with white picture of Shirley Size: Bowl: 6 1/4 inch diameter Milk Pitcher: 4 inches tall Mug: 3 1/2 inches tall Circa: 1930 Company: Hazel Atlas Glass Company All times have honeycombed design molded into the glass. The transfer print on the mug is all but gone but it’s there. The pictures on the bowl and pitcher are much more intact. Although different images were produced on this glassware, all of these pictures of Shirley are alike. They depict an older girl, not the younger Shirley. The bowl has multiple chips around the edge. I have tried to show this in pictures but it’s not ideal to show them in photos. There are many. Maybe the scalloped edge was good for catching on things, creating the chips. From above, the chips are not too obvious. One thing for certain, these are not reproductions from Danbury Mint. They are originals and the cobalt blue is intense. These dishes were premiums for eating boxes of Wheaties. If you sent in box tops, you got the glassware in the mail.
