Description: This a replica of the jacket used in the historic 1990 Trans-Antarctica Expedition led by Will Steger. Size Medium. The bright teal/aqua/blue-green color does have some patina to it as this jacket is over 30 years old. This has an oversized anorak fit with a Gore-Tex shell and is designed to go over a down jacket which means this has NO insulation. Hood is oversized and has a vizor. Also, has oversized pockets for gloves, and one interior zip pocket. Drawstrings with toggles and an inner waist wind apron. Gusseted construction for movement and zippered under arm vents. Full zippered front with large velcro tabs . The reflective patches and embroidery are all in good shape with some cracking in the ink but no stitching coming up. The velcro tabs on the chest, wrist and inner wind apron has loose stitching/lifting (see photos) but nothing that isn’t easily fixable. The bottom elastic seems have lost its elasticity but still has both toggles. Please keep reasonable expectations as this jacket is over 30 years old.
