Description: Vintage Christian Lacroix Gold & Black Patent Leather & Tapestry Pumps US 8 / EU 39 These stunning pumps from French designer Christian Lacroix are a great example of his love of the flamboyant. The upper part of the shoe is built with a combination of fabrics that include metallic gold and black tapestry with black and gold patent leather on the heel, vamp, and toe. The bows on the toes are a nod to Lacroix's love of giant bows that he incorporated frequently into his clothing. Note the extra flair of broguing trimming the leather. So chic! Regarding condition, these shoes look quite nice for vintage. The fabric is in excellent condition, particularly on the heels where you would expect to see some wear. The only issue we see with the leather is some scuffing on the gold toes that could be remedied with the right color of shoe polish. The outer soles show normal signs of wear, but still have plenty of life left in them. The insoles look good, though the designer's name on the tag has worn off and is no longer there (it still appears on the bottom of the shoe). Size is EU 39 / US 8.
