Description: Vtg. Santo Domingo TUFA CAST STERLING HUGE DAMELE TURQUOISE Cuff Bracelet Signed A huge, beautifully webbed Damele gemstone, with great height, is the starring presence of this exceptional vintage Native American tufa cast cuff bracelet. Cast in heavy grade sterling silver, it combines strength with gracefulness, blending traditional with contemporary design. Exquisitely detailed, solid bezel set turquoise is encircled by braided silver rope and embellished with silver scrolling and poured silver beads. The bands are carinated, with beautiful figural terminals. Distinctively hallmark signed. I can’t immediately identify the artist, but it appears to be Santo Domingo/Kewa, possibly the Lovato family, whose artisans excel in tufa silversmith/lapidary work. The cuff will comfortably fit up to a 6" to 6-1/2" wrist. It is sturdy and rigid, size cannot be modified. Pristine condition. Measurements 5-5/8” inner circumference + 1” gap = 6-5/8” total Measurement across: wrist bone to wrist bone: 2-3/8” Stone: 1-1/4” x 7/8” Height: north to south: 1-5/8” center to 5/8” terminal ends Weight: 66 grams A museum quality piece, reflecting the very best of fine Native American vintage jewelry art. I generally do not accept returns, unless I've made an unintentional error in description. I describe everything to the best of my ability and point out any flaws. Please look at all the photos, enlarged for clarity, and ask any questions before bidding. I want you to be happy with your purchase. Insured domestic shipping is quoted. Inquire for International.
